SATLE
SATLE – the Strategic Alignment of Teaching and Learning Enhancement Funding in Higher Education – is a €6.4m funding allocation administered by the National Forum in partnership with the Higher Education Authority to drive teaching and learning innovation and enhancement across the higher education sector.
IADT has supported individual fellowships and university-wide seminars, all of are designed to enhance the learning environment.
The purpose of SATLE funding is to champion pedagogical innovation and to facilitate and encourage the exchange of best practice among colleagues.
In 2025-26, there are two Teaching & Learning communities of practice as follows:
1. Community of Practice: Inclusive Assessment Design and Support
2. Community of Practice: Sustainability for Studio Practice
