This 4-year Digital Business degree explores how digital technologies are transforming modern business practice. It introduces students to core business principles alongside key digital concepts, showing how organisations use technology to improve operations, engage customers, and create value.
Throughout the programme, students examine the role of digital tools, data, online platforms, and emerging technologies in business environments. The course develops an understanding of how digital business models work and how technology supports decision-making, communication, and innovation across organisations.
Students also gain insight into the wider business environment, including strategy, marketing, operations, and management, with a strong emphasis on their digital application.

Digital business is a way of running and growing a company by using digital technologies to create new value, improve customer experiences, and reshape business models. It is more than simply being online or selling through a website; it uses technology across operations, products, and services to gain a competitive edge. A digital business uses tools like data, cloud systems, mobile apps, automation, and analytics to work smarter and serve customers better.
Over four years, you’ll explore the areas of digital business that includes marketing, finance, management, emerging digital technologies such as the implementation of Artificial intelligence. Starting with foundational principles and progressing to more advanced topics.
The option of a third year work placement provides valuable industry experience or you can choose to complete one semester of Erasmus with one of our European partnering institutes.
Graduates of this course will be ready to work confidently with digital tools and technologies in a variety of business settings. You’ll develop strong skills across a range of digital platforms, giving you flexible, transferable abilities that can be used in many different industries.
