What is Digital Marketing?
Digital marketing uses online channels such as search, social media, email and web content to connect organisations with their audiences and to support business objectives. In this course, you will examine how digital campaigns are planned, implemented, and evaluated, and how AI-enabled tools are used to support search, content development, and data analysis.
What will I do on the course?
You will work on applied tasks and a project that asks you to plan, execute and review elements of a digital marketing campaign. Typical activities include:
- Developing elements of a digital marketing plan for a product, service or organisation.
- Using selected AI-enabled tools to support search, content development, and data analysis tasks.
- Interpreting key performance indicators from digital channels and making evidence informed recommendations.
Learning is practical and applied, with a mix of lectures, workshops, project work and class discussion.
What will I study?
This certificate is built around two core modules:
- Digital Marketing explores how to design, implement and evaluate digital marketing activities that support organisational goals.
- AI Search and Data Analytics examines how search optimisation, web and campaign data can be collected, analysed and interpreted to inform digital marketing decisions.
How will I be assessed?
Assessment is 100% project based. There are no written examinations on this course.
