IADT’s Amanda Ralph wins Business to Arts Accenture €10,000 Digital Innovation in Art Bursary
IADT lecturer in sculpture Amanda Ralph is the 2025 winner of the Accenture €10,000 Digital Innovation in Art Bursary announced at the National Concert Hall at the annual Business to Arts Awards on Monday 8th September.
Launched in 2022, the Accenture €10,000 Digital Innovation in Art Bursary seeks to recognise artists whose work delivers on the promise of technology and human ingenuity.
Amanda Ralph received the award for her work in the digital space. She is working on setting up a digital ‘field station’ on a derelict farm to analyse wildlife using sensors, cameras, and audio data before biodiversity restoration begins. The bursary supports her practice, skill development, and the creation of new work for an upcoming exhibition at Luan Gallery.
“When the public and private sectors come together to support the arts, the impact goes far beyond culture – it drives local economies, sparks innovation, and builds stronger, more connected communities,” said Minister for Culture, Communications and Sport, Patrick O’Donovan, who attended the awards.
