Roisín O’Toole, London-based UX designer, and Lesley-Ann Daly PhD, researcher in Sensory Augmentation
Sometimes the path into further study, a career, or a life’s work is not always straight or logical. This conversation between two IADT graduates will explore how their paths took them from their undergraduate work into new areas of exploration, and discuss how the skills they gained have allowed them to develop in unexpected ways that they could not have planned for as undergraduate students.
Roisin O’Toole, a London-based UX designer with a focus on ethical technology, graduated from IADT’s Modelmaking and Production Design BA programmes, and Lesley-Ann Daly, a PhD researcher using Critical Design methodologies to examine the effects of Sensory Augmentation technology on its users, achieved her BA in Design for Stage and Screen: Makeup Design. Our moderator will be lecturer Fiona Snow, herself an IADT graduate-turned-academic.
