Entrepreneurship Graduate Wins 3 IFTA Nominations
The work of Nicholas Murphy and Ed Bruce on 'Black Sails', 'Game of Thrones' and 'Ripper Street' has been recognised with three of the four nominations in the visual effects category.
Nicholas won the Irish Film & Television Academy Award for Best Visual Effects for his work on 'The Frankenstein Chronicles'. Nicholas has also won numerous international awards over the past three years for his work on 'Ripper Street' and 'Moonfleet'. He was nominated for a BAFTA Award at the 2015 Television Craft BAFTA Awards – Special Visual & Graphic Effects for his work on Ripper Street. He is currently working on 'We Have Always Lived in the Castle' (2017).
Nicholas may have to get a larger trophy cabinet after the IFTA Awards night on April 8 and we wish him the best of luck with his nominations.
