IADT welcomes funding announcement under the Jobs Stimulus package
IADT has welcomed the announcement by the Minister for Further and Higher Education, Research, Innovation and Science, Simon Harris, TD, which confirmed that the Institute will receive €167K to support free and subsidised higher education places. Under the Jobs Stimulus package this funding will help to get people back to work, upskill workers and build economic confidence while continuing to manage the impact of Covid-19.
The funding has been approved to support the provision of up to 140 places in the following modular, short courses, certificate courses and part-time postgraduate programmes.
These modular courses are short and focused and will be offered by IADT in a flexible manner, allowing applicants to gain important skills without taking a considerable period away from the job-market. Each module offered by IADT will be stand-alone so that participants can gain skills and put them into practice immediately in the workplace. All IADT modules are also accredited in such a way as to provide building blocks to a full qualification should our students so wish.
