Featuring work across a range of media and approaches, the exhibition creates a space where connections and contrasts can be explored, suggesting new ways of thinking about shared concerns, methods, and contexts.
By placing these practices side-by-side, Parallels opens-up a conversation that extends beyond the studio – inviting students, peers and the wider public to engage with the ongoing research, experimentation and creative enquiry at the heart of contemporary art practice.
Artists include Laura Butler, Shane Cullen, Cora Cummins, Lynda Devenney, Clodagh Emoe, Sarah Fitzgibbon, Paul Gregg, Mark Joyce, Róisín Lewis, Tim Lloyd, Kathleen Moroney, Adrian O’Connell, Ciarán O’Keeffe, Amanda Ralph.
