Photography + Visual Media Graduate is recipient of the Ange Tomasi Artist Residency 2025 in Corsica, France
It has just been announced that Róisín Lambert, BA [Hons] Photography + Visual Media graduate 2024, is the recipient of a two-month Artist Residency to take place this September and October on the island of Corsica. The ‘Ange Tomasi Residency’ is awarded by the Foundation of the University of Corsica in partnership with the French Embassy (Ireland) in collaboration with IADT.

Since graduating last year, Róisín has received significant professional acknowledgement for her work. She is currently Artist in Residency at Photo Museum Ireland, having been selected for the, ‘Early Career Artist Residency 2025’, as a result of her Graduate Exhibition. Róisín’s work has also been published and further exhibited, most recently in May, as part of the IADT Alumni Selection Exhibition at Mason, Hayes and Curran (MHC), where she also received the ‘MHC Staff Selection Award’.
As recipient of the residency in Corsica this Autumn, Róisín receives a monthly stipend, accommodation, studio and travel costs. The theme of the residency is, ‘Pastoralism’ looking at the links between Corsica and Ireland. Over the two months, Roisin will make work in response to this theme, the outcome of which will then be exhibited in Ireland and Corsica in 2026.
Having grown up in rural Wicklow, in response to the news, Róisín says, ‘It is a fantastic opportunity and I’m very grateful for the chance to participate. I think the residency will be a very interesting way to expand my perspective, work and have the time and space to make that work’, and adds, ‘having the opportunity to exhibit is really unexpected and I really appreciate the possibility’.
IADT would like to acknowledge and sincerely thank the Foundation of the University of Corsica and the Embassy of France (Ireland), in particular, Graziella Luisi (Foundation Director) & Delphine Tessier, Elisabetta Sabbatini & Amélie Stroh (Embassy of France, Ireland) along with Dr. Mark Curran at IADT for his commitment and dedication in helping to realise this unique opportunity for our alumni.
