An ORCID profile is a free, easy-to-use tool that collates and centralises your scholarly output, serving as a dynamic online CV that is easily discoverable by peers, funders, publishers and institutions.
By actively managing and promoting your ORCID profile, you ensure your research outputs are accurately attributed to you, easily discoverable, visible to a global audience and you receive proper credit for your work.
Benefits of ORCID
Integration with Pure
The integration between Pure (IADT’s Research Portal) and ORCID allows you to keep your research record current. You can import outputs and activities from ORCID to Pure and export them from Pure to ORCID.
The import and export process can be automated or triggered on demand after you authenticate and grant permission via Pure. This two-way integration significantly reduces the time spent on populating both platforms, eliminates the need for duplicate data entry and ensures your research outputs are consistently and reliably represented.
For further information, please consult the following guide: Importing from ORCID to Pure/Exporting from Pure to ORCID Guide.
