Taster day for the BSc (Hons) in Creative Media Technologies (DL835) Wednesday 13th Jan
IADT are active in forming links further education colleges, particularly in the greater Dublin area, to attract their graduates into IADT programmes.
One example of this engagement is an event being hosted by the Department of Technology and Psychology, on the afternoon of Wednesday 13th January. They are running a taster day for prospective applicants to the B.Sc (Honours) in Creative Media Technologies(CMT).

The ab-initio CMT programme was introduced in September 2015, and builds on the previous 15 years of the successful B.Eng in Audio Visual Media Technology/B.Sc (Honours) in Digital Media Systems add-on.
Whilst the focus of the taster day is CMT, the students will be taken on a tour, and will have the opportunity to learn about the other programmes in the Faculty of Film, Arts and Creative Technologies, and all the programmes at IADT. The timing of the event provides the opportunity for prospective candidates to visit the Institute’s Open Evening, running from 4.30 to 7.30. A number of further education colleges have taken interest in this day.
