IADT Football Club IADT FC Celebrates End‑of‑Season Success at McIntyre Cup Awards
The IADT Football Club recently marked the end of another successful season with its annual awards night, held in conjunction with the McIntyre Cup, a highlight of the sporting calendar at IADT. The awards ceremony celebrated standout performances and contributions from players across the club, recognising individual excellence, commitment and achievements on and off the pitch.
Design Students Annual Collaboration RIAM Opera and IADT at the Samuel Beckett Theatre
This annual collaboration between IADT and RIAM (Royal Academy of Music)is a wonderful example of what can be achieved when arts education institutions work together and share ideas, resources and creative energy. The production design is realised on an impressive scale through IADT’s BA [Hons] Design for Film student teams working across costume, sets, and hair and make-up.
Green Week 2026 Teaching Glade Pocket Forest Planting
Green Week 2026 was the launch of the Teaching Glade Pocket Forest at IADT. A sunny dry morning saw students, staff and community members plant around 3,000 native Irish plants, creating a new biodiversity space on campus that will also serve as an outdoor learning environment. The planting project also aims to enhance campus ecology and support pollinators.
Business Management Project Community & Sustainability Research with Bohemians FC
A new collaboration between IADT and Bohemians FC has seen Business Management students lead a research project on community, climate justice and sustainability in the ever‑evolving world of Irish football. As part of the collaboration, IADT students carried out primary research to understand the hopes, concerns and motivations of the club’s diverse stakeholder community.

IADT was delighted to welcome acclaimed visual artist and IADT alumnus Maser to officially open On Show 25, the Institute’s annual graduate exhibition celebrating the work of final‑year students.

IADT is proud to celebrate Business alumna Nicki Hoyne (Class of 2007), serial entrepreneur and founder of Nicki Hoyne, an award‑winning B Corp Certified footwear brand produced in Spain and Portugal. What began as an idea has since grown into an internationally recognised brand built on quality, creativity and resilience.
