Louise Glynn
Louise Glynn lectures in computing and is a strong advocate for increasing the number of female and other underrepresented groups in the IT industry and is a member of the INGENIC group (Irish Network for Gender Equality in Computing).
Louise graduated with a BSc. in Multimedia Systems from IADT (2008), an MSc. in Computer Science from UCD (2016), a PGDip in Teaching and Learning from TUS (2023) and a five credit microcredential Including people with Intellectual Disabilities in higher education from UCC (2024). She has commenced an EdD (Doctor of Education) at DCU in 2024.
Louise coordinates the Film, Art + Creative Technologies cross-faculty 1st-year and 2nd-year modules: Connect, Workshop and Elective.
Louise was an National Technological University Transformation for Resilience and Recovery (N-TUTORR) Academic Staff Champion and led a Fellowship project in 2023/34.
Louise is a UDL (Universal Design for Learning) Champion and a member of the Climate Action Committee.
She has completed many Enterprise Ireland Innovation Voucher projects.
She is a certified Cisco Instructor and AWS (Amazon Web Services) Educator and has set up IADT as an Institute on the Cisco NetAcademy and AWS Academy platforms.
