At IADT our research is informed by creative practice and by our knowledge of how art, design, and technology intersect.

Our strength is in our specialisation with expertise in Animation, Augmented Reality, Cyberpsychology, Design and Innovation, Entrepreneurship, Humanities, Art Management, Film and Media, User Experience and VFX.

We engage in both academic and practice-based research to push the boundaries of all our disciplines. We have lots of exciting partnerships and look forward to many more as we tackle challenges in sustainability, equality, and globalisation.
