Storm Éowyn — Campus Reopens Saturday 25th January
Update: 24.01.2025
IADT campus will reopen tomorrow, Saturday 25th January as usual. Having completed a full assessment, the campus is safe and will open as normal.
It is however important to note that the weather is still unsettled and further hazards may manifest between now and campus opening tomorrow. Staff and students are advised to exercise caution and report any issues to Estates.
Update: 23.01.205
Met Éireann has issued a Status Red Wind Warning for Dublin on Friday 24th January.
A Status Red alert is the forecaster’s highest-level warning which has the potential to endanger human life, cause damage to exposed and vulnerable structures, disrupt services and transport, and may lead to significant power outages and cause fallen trees/branches.
As a result, IADT campus will be closed for the full day on Friday 24th January.
Faculties will make arrangements for classes to be delivered online, as far as possible, and they will contact you with further details.
Students are advised to adhere to the guidance issued by Met Éireann and the National Emergency Coordination Group.
We currently expect to resume activities on campus as usual on Monday 27th January. If there is any change to this plan, we will be in touch with another update.
