Special Guests Mike Ross & Dr Norah Patten visit IADT
IADT was delighted to welcome two very special guests - recently retired Irish and Leinster Professional Rugby player, Mike Ross, and Ireland’s first Science-Astronaut-in-Training, Dr Norah Patten - to the Certificate in Sport Psychology programme, on 1st November 2017.
The visit was organised by IADT's own Sport Psychology Lecturer, Dr. Olivia Hurley, who chaired the session. All present were treated to a fascinating Q&A session with Mike and Norah, who spoke so openly and honestly about various aspects of their careers to date, as well as their ambitions for their futures. Both guests also imparted some excellent advice to the student-athletes, coaches and parents present who are studying on the Certificate in Sport Psychology programme in this academic year. It was a wonderful evening for all present. Our sincere thanks to Mike and Norah for giving of their time so generously to take part in this very special and memorable event for our IADT Sport Psychology students and staff.
