Minister for Jobs, Enterprise & Innovation Congratulates IADT/DIT on the great success
The New Frontiers Programme, which is funded by Enterprise Ireland, offers early stage companies a package of support comprising training, mentoring, financial support and workspace in facilities like IADT’s Media Cube Incubation Centre.
Media Cube based companies such asArchsure, Assist Garments, CircitHQ,MyDealDoc, MummyCooks, Silooette andYour Smile Direct availed of the opportunity to build their profile among an audience of investors and representatives of State support agencies. They also picked up a few pointers from keynote speaker, Cyril McGuire, founder of Trintech and Infinity Capital. The event was kindly hosted byWilliam Fry Solicitors.
Since 2012, 36 out of 100 Phase 2 participants in the joint DIT/IADT programme have gone on to secure Competitive Start Fund investment from Enterprise Ireland, and 13 have become HPSU investees of EI. Overall public and private equity investment in those companies stands at €8.65m. The companies already employ 249 people, with a further 266 jobs projected within 2016.
