Applicants from Outside the EU
The classification of EU and Non-EU applicants is based on specific fee assessment criteria. If you are uncertain about your status, please refer to the Undergraduate Fee Assessment or Postgraduate Fee Assessment pages.
How to Determine if You Are an EU or Non-EU Applicant
Answer the following questions to help determine your status:
- Were you born outside the EU/EEA?
- Have you, or your parents, lived outside the EU/EEA for 3 of the last 5 years?
- Are you a non-EU/EEA National?

Application Process for Non-EU Applicants
- Undergraduate: If classified as a non-EU applicant, apply directly to IADT
- NONEU Application Form 2025/26 – click HERE
- EU Applicants:
- Postgraduate Applications: Apply directly to IADT.
- Undergraduate Applications: Apply through the CAO website.
Full-Time Undergraduate Degrees: Key Dates & Deadlines
- Application Opening: 5th November 2025
- Priority Deadline: 1st February 2025
- Portfolio Submission Deadline: 18th March 2025 (if applicable)
Note: Applicants will not receive an offer for restricted/portfolio-based programmes if the portfolio has not been submitted or passed.
For Non-EU applicants seeking First-Year Entry, there is a rolling deadline, but it is highly recommended to apply by the priority deadline of 1st Feb
English Language Requirements
If English is not your first language, you must provide evidence of one of the following qualifications before an offer can be made. Certificates must be submitted with your application, and tests must have been taken within the last two years.
Acceptable Qualifications for 2025/26

Duolingo English Test | Overall score: 120 (with no less than 110 in Literacy, Comprehension, Conversation, and Production) |
LanguageCert ESOL | B2 Communicator High Pass (minimum score of 33 in each skill, all components taken within 3 months) |
If a student visa is required, one of these tests must be submitted. Please check individual programme requirements for specific variations.
If you do not currently hold a certificate, indicate which qualification you plan to submit and when you intend to take the test. All test results must be submitted by May 2025 to allow processing before offers are made.
