Accessing service
To make online payments towards your fees, ensure you use the following secure link https://epay.iadt.ie/invoice
Device
We recommend students use the ePayment service on a Desktop PC/Laptop rather than a smartphone or other mobile devices.
Authentication
- Ensure when you are logging in you are entering your Student ID number, starting with a capital letter N (for example N00123456).
- When entering your date of birth type in the format dd/mm/yyyy (for example 01/01/2000) or choose from the calendar.
Outstanding Balance
When you first log in to ePay, you will be presented with the current balance. If you are paying a different amount at that time, update the value to be paid in this screen, before progressing to enter the credit/debit card details.
Transaction Limits
Before making any payments, you should ensure that the amount you are trying to pay does not exceed any limits placed on your card by its issuer. For example, some cards (especially debit cards) have a daily or individual transaction limit and you may need to make smaller payments over multiple transactions for larger amounts.
Bank Verification
Most banks require verification to complete a transaction with a credit or debit card. This may involve sending a code to the phone number associated with the card and account. If this is not set up, or you don’t enter the code in time, the page may reload. If necessary you may need to contact your bank to update verification details.
Payment Confirmation
An email will be sent (to the email address entered at the time of the transaction) detailing fees paid following a successful transaction. If you don’t see it, check your junk mail folder as sometimes automated emails can go there rather than delivered to your inbox.
Balance update
Please note it may take at least 2 working days (or more at peak times) for the payment to be reflected on your student record balance.
