I am experiencing disordered eating or an eating disorder
Should you become concerned about a disordered pattern of eating, we invite you to engage in specialist medical and psychological supports, detailed below.
Eating disorders are complex, multifaceted and require specialist support. If you are experiencing an eating disorder, you should contact your GP. If you are not registered with a GP, you can alternatively arrange an appointment with the college GP through Student Health. Student Health appointments can be made by phone on 01 239 4760, or dropping in during office hours 9am – 4pm Monday to Friday (we are in the Atrium building opposite the Canteen).
Bodywhys, the Eating Disorders Association of Ireland, is the national voluntary organisation supporting people affected by eating disorders. Please visit their website for further information and specialist support options.
