I am experiencing persistent low mood/depression
We each will encounter times of feeling low or sad during life’s ebbs and flows.
Similarly, a distressing event or major change in your life can affect your mood. And sometimes we might feel low for no clear reason.
A low mood can affect how you think, feel and behave, and show signs including:
• feeling sad or not enjoying things as much as you did
• feeling anxious or panicky
• being more tired than usual or sleep problems
• being irritable
• feeling angry or frustrated
• feeling worthless or guilty
• finding it hard to concentrate
A persistent unchanging sense of low mood, may be a good indicator that you could benefit from talking to someone.
Could you reach out to a friend?
Or could it be time to reach out to a professional?
