IADT Graduate Robbie Ryan enjoys double success at 2016 Cannes Film Festival

The film shot by Irish cinematographer Robbie Ryan and IADT graduate – I, Daniel Blake – directed by acclaimed British director Ken Loach, which tells the story of a middle-aged widower who suffers a heart attack and his ensuing battle with the welfare system in Britain won the Palme d'Or at the 2016 Cannes Film Festival.

Another film shot by Robbie, American Honey, won the competition's Jury Prize.
