Ernst & Young’s, Mark Glynn, Directory of Transformation Architecture and Master of Ceremonies, hosted the N-TUTORR Connect & Collaborate Fellowship Networking event recently. Via a series of lighting talks eight IADT fellowship awardees showcased a variety of projects underpinned by N-TUTORR core themes: Equality, Diversity & Inclusion (EDI), Universal Design for Learning (UDL), Education for Sustainability and Digital Transformation.
Partners in Innovation and Change Fellowship Awardees from the Institute of Art, Design & Technology, (IADT), Dundalk Institute of Technology and TU Dublin presented almost 40 interesting and diverse projects which aim to address pertinent issues across a wide variety of socio-economic and educational issues. The event was officially opened by Dr Sharon Flynn, National Coordinator, N-TUTORR Programme, who stressed the importance of learner empowerment in higher education, with specific emphasis on the added value of the student voice. Their power, as influential change agents, especially with regard to important decisions in HE, that may impact their student experience and their futures.
The Partners in Innovation and Change Fellowships funding, of up to €5,000 per project, empowers students to have their voice heard, to work with their educators, to participate in shaping the future and to connect and collaborate with their counterparts across the technological higher education institutes. About the National Technological Universities Transformation for Recovery & Resilience (N-TUTORR).
The N–TUTORR project is a programme within the Technological University sector and funded by the European Union and NextGenerationEU. N-TUTORR is supported by the Higher Education Authority (HEA) and coordinated by the Technological Higher Education Association (THEA) in collaboration with seven Higher Education Institutes across Ireland: Atlantic Technological University (ATU), Dundalk Institute of Technology (DkIT), Dún Laoghaire Institute of Art, Design and Technology (IADT), South East Technological University (SETU), Munster Technological University (MTU), Technological University Dublin (TU Dublin) and Technological University of the Shannon: Midlands Midwest (TUS).
