Future-skill your staff with scholarships available for enterprise in the creative industries!
IADT is seeking enterprise partners* with engaged applicants who wish to upskill and reskill for future enterprise opportunities within their workplace. A limited number of Scholarships are currently available.
If you have staff with relevant work experience who are looking for accreditation through recognition of their prior learning and professional experience, please contact Elena Somoza, IADT Creative Futures Academy Co-ordinator, at iadt@creativefutures.ie for more information.
* Enterprise is here broadly defined as a company (Multinational Company, Small- or Medium-sized Enterprise), registered charity, social, cultural, or not-for-profit civic or community organisation, state-owned enterprise, or a public body.
What is RPL?
IADT supports Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) as a mode of access to higher education for those who may not meet the standard entry requirements.
Prior learning is acquired in different ways and can be broken into the following three categories:
- Formal learning
- Non-formal learning
- Informal learning
RPL makes it possible for a person to build on the learning they’ve achieved and to be rewarded for it, for example in the form of access to a course or exemption/credit on a module(s) in a course.
