Irish Taekwondo Olympic star, Jack Woolley visits IADT

The session was arranged by Dr Olivia Hurley for her Certificate in Sport Psychology 2021/2022 class.

It was a wonderful night, with Jack sharing his Tokyo 2020 experiences and answering any questions our Sport Psychology students had regarding his training and preparations for competition.

Jack spoke so honestly and openly about his life as a young Irish athlete. It was a privilege for all present to hear him speak. Our thanks to Jack for presenting some of the available students from our class of 2020/2021, who had to complete their Sport Psychology studies fully online last year due to the pandemic, with their Certificates.

Thanks also to Derry McVeigh of Silver Hatch Sports Agency for his assistance in making the night happen.

We wish Jack our very best wishes with his future sporting endeavours and look forward to welcoming him back to IADT in the years to come!
