As part of Ireland’s leading third level Institute for the creative, cultural and technological sectors, competing for new talent and retaining existing talent is a main priority for HR. Key goals for HR will be to review its HR policies, programmes and practices to ensure they are aligned with the Institute’s strategic plan. Other key priorities for the HR department will be to develop and implement quality communication process to all staff and stakeholders that will highlight HR’s purpose within the Institute.
Included in HR’s responsibilities is the area of staff training, learning and development. IADT prioritise investment in staff training initiatives and our Staff Training, Learning + Development Officer works closely with Institute staff and heads of faculty and function to provide appropriate courses in addition to offering guidance and encouragement to maximise opportunities for development of staff to meet their full potential.
The HR team is committed to providing accurate, timely advice in a supportive and approachable way. We will implement policies and procedures equally and consistently to all staff and stakeholders of IADT. We endeavor to communicate HR policies and procedures in a clear and comprehensible way. HR staff are committed to delivering the highest standards of service to the Institute, staff and stakeholders at all times.
