Parking Policy
It is the policy of the Institute that all parking is controlled and managed by way of pay and display, subject to the rates, rules and restrictions listed below. Parking permits are available free of charge to specified users under the terms and conditions listed in these regulations. Please Note if you do not park in a designated parking space your vehicle will automatically be clamped, even if you have a permit or have paid for parking (see de-clamping section below for further information). Designated parking spaces are marked in all our car parks, there is no designated parking outside of our four car parks. Non-commercial vehicles will be clamped in loading bays.

Parking Rules
Parking will be available at all times that the Institute is open, i.e. 7am-10pm Monday to Friday inclusive and 8am-5pm on Saturdays, subject to the availability of car park spaces.
Parking Restrictions
The following restrictions apply to each of the car parks:
Visitors
Visitors or users not in possession of a valid IADT Car Parking permit may use any of the car parks subject to the payment of the appropriate fee and the visible display of the ticket on the vehicle.
Permit Holders
Holders of Institute issued permits may park as follows:
Car Park A (beside Media Cube)
Parking in this car park is restricted to staff and IADT students displaying a valid IADT Car Parking sticker/permit. Other users (i.e. visitors and sports pitch users) must pay and display to park in this car park. Please note that there are 18 parking bays marked with a ‘Blue Cube’ drawing which are reserved on a lease basis for leaseholders of the Media Cube.
Car Park B (set down car park: just off main road roundabout)
This car park is NOT AVAILABLE to staff, students or visitors at the following times: 08:00–09:00 and 12:30–14:30 Monday to Friday inclusive during METNS school term time. Staff, students and visitors whose cars are parked in this car park during the above times will be clamped.
There is free parking for parents, guardians and carers of school children attending METNS in this car park at the following times only: 08:00–09:00 and 12:30–14:30 Monday to Friday inclusive during school term time, with a maximum 30 minute waiting period. Parking in this car park is open to all campus users displaying a valid IADT car parking permit or pay and display ticket outside the above hours.
Car Park C (rear of campus: left off Goff Avenue)
Parking in this car park is open to all campus users displaying a valid IADT car parking permit (staff or student). Other users (visitors, sports pitch users) must pay and display to park in this car park.
Car Park D (rear of campus: right off Goff Avenue)
Parking in this car park is open to all campus users displaying a valid IADT car parking permit (staff or student). Other users (staff, visitors, sports pitch users) must pay and display to park in this car park.
Park E (outside Carriglea building)
Parking in this motorcycle park is open to all campus users of motorbikes or scooters.
Bicycle Parks
Parking in bicycle parks is restricted to two-wheeled non-motorised cycles.

These spaces are restricted to users displaying a valid European Disabled Drivers card as issued by the Irish Wheelchair Association, or the Disabled Drivers Association. Any vehicles not displaying the appropriate card/sticker will be automatically subject to sanction.
Parking Rates and De-clamping Charge
Parking fees and de-clamping charges will be determined from time to time by the executive of the Institute and will be notified on all parking ticket dispensing machines. Parking for bicycles and motorcycles is free in authorised locations.
Current car parking rates are
€1 per hour or part thereof for up to 4 hours.
€4 per hour or part thereof for parking thereafter.
De-clamping charge €80 (€40 for motorcycles).
