50808 Crisis Text Line
50808 is a 24/7 messaging support service for people going through a tough time, funded by the HSE Mental Health Services. The 50808 platform will connect texters with a professionally trained volunteer who will offer their support. All conversations are anonymous, unless the texter wants to give their name, and are reviewed in real time by a team of qualified staff supervisors who will support volunteers to listen to and support texters.

PCHEI
The PCHEI is the representative body of Psychological Counsellors in Higher Education in Ireland. It provides support for counsellors, and facilitates continuous professional development. Bodywhys
See Myself is a psycho-education tool, targeted at those aged 15-24 yrs, was developed by Dr John Sharry and Silver Cloud Health. The online programme covers topics including self-esteem, body-image, food and mood, understanding the media and how it influences self- image and thoughts-feelings-behaviours cycles.The participants explores each module over a six to eight week timeframe using a range of multi-media interactive tools, exercises and goal setting to address core issues. The person is supported through the programme by a designated online peer-supporter. It is free to use – enquiries to helpline@bodywhys.ie.
