Paraic Mc Quaid

I am proud to have worked in IADT since 2003. I lecture mainly on the BA Cultural Enterprise programme in Cultural Policy, Visual Cultures, Cultural + Creative Industries, Business Research Methods. I was programme coordinator from 2010-2015. I lecture on the MA Public Cultures as well as the Post Graduate Diploma in Cultural Event Management.

I exhibited as a professional artist working mainly with painting after graduating. I have expanded my practice to include photography, video, installation and community engaged practice.

I have conducted action research related to cultural policy with the Interarts Foundation and EACEA (European Commission). Research interests relate to youth participation in culture, cultural policy, visual cultures, visual arts.
