Anna Guerin/The Landskein, graduate of Masters in Business in Digital Entrepreneurship showcases fashion collection at Brown Thomas Create10.

After completing the Masters in Business in Digital Entrepreneurship, Anna started implementing The Landskein business by developing a prototypes collection, branding and an operation plan.

THE LANDSKEIN

The Landskein is a contemporary Irish tailoring brand, committed to honouring heritage Irish textiles within a modern aesthetic. The brand’s luxury tailored coats for women are hand cut and sewn from authentic Donegal tweed, woven exclusively for The Landskein.

The pieces embody a sense of place and ground the wearer in tradition, while the unstructured relaxed silhouettes create an atmosphere of luxurious ease.

With two decades in the fashion business before launching her own brand The Landskein, Guerin brings an exceptional attention to detail to her designs. Her experience in designing for dressage and performance wear informs her approach. Silhouettes are modern, with relaxed oversized cuts, drop shoulders and extended style lines. While the cuts are contemporary, the styles are tailored only using the best of traditional tailoring techniques.

Guerin states: “The Landskein reflects my deep emotional attachment to tweed. These pieces interweave the lines of heritage and modernity, by telling the story of Irish textiles in a modern narrative. My hope is that a Landskein coat becomes a part of the wearer’s own narrative and that the luxury of its warmth and meaning is felt with each wear.”
