How did you come to study at IADT and what attracted you the college and your course?
I loved how much flexibility the course gave you, you weren’t forced to focus on just design, or just programming, you got to get the best of both worlds which really helped me develop skills I might want in the future. IADT is such a creative college. This was right place for me and I’m pleased with my decision!
What was your journey to IADT?
I started in an all-Irish School then went to Templeogue College. From there I came to IADT and haven’t looked back since. IADT invests greatly in its students, and it shows with past alumni and how high a standard they set.
What was the most fun you’ve had so far?
Freshers Week! The First Years Matters team was amazing and the work they did was unbelievable, all the events were great for new students like myself, who came to the college without knowing anyone. I cannot express enough how amazing the team is, and am grateful for the support they gave in welcoming us to the family which is IADT.
What does the future hold for you?
I’m taking part in an internship for Microsoft and hope to save up enough to pursue a Masters’ Degree as well as a Doctorate Degree in Computing.
What has been your favourite part of studying at IADT?
Lecturers and students get to know each other, which allows for a friendlier campus and atmosphere. It’s like one big family, everyone looks out and helps one another when we notice someone struggling. The courses I’ve studied at IADT have really helped me grow as a person and I made friends for life there.
IADT is…
IADT is full of friendly smiles, creative students, welcoming lecturers and motivated students which pushed me to do better.
