New Chairperson appointed to IADT
David Holohan, with a background in financial investment brings a wealth of experience to IADT at a time of significant growth for the Institute. Welcoming the appointment, Dr Annie Doona, President of IADT said, “I look forward to working with David in his new role as Chairperson. Together, we can deliver on the mission of the Institute to develop graduates who are innovative, creative and entrepreneurial and who can adapt and contribute to Irelands economic social and cultural development.”
Accepting the appointment, David Holohan said that he is grateful to the Minister for the opportunity to contribute to the further development of IADT as an outstanding Institute in the creative and cultural industries in Ireland. “I look forward to working with my colleagues on the Governing Body, the President and the executive of the Institute to build on the success of the entrepreneurial development that is so visible across IADT. I wish to thank my predecessors in the role for their contributions to the Institute.”
David Holohan (BCOMM, MBA, APA, M.Inst.D, CMgr MCMI, Chartered FCSI) is Chief Investment Officer at Merrion Capital and was appointed to the Board of the HPRA by the Minister for Health in January 2016. David holds an MBA from Imperial College London, is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment, also a Chartered Manager and a Member of the Institute of Directors. David is a Director and Treasurer of both One in Four and the Dublin City Childcare Committee.
