Aware Life Skills Programme
Life Skills is a group of programmes from Aware that are based on the principles of cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT). CBT is a therapy that focuses on thinking and behaviour and has been shown to be an effective treatment for mild to moderate depression, stress and/or anxiety. See MySelf from Bodywhys
SeeMySelf – is an online psycho-education programme designed for young people aged 15-24. This programme focuses on different issues such as self-esteem, body image and media, and culture. Participants work through each of the six modules week by week, and are supported by an online supporter who will check in with them online once a week. HSE Stress Control
‘Stress Control’ is a six session evening class being run by the HSE Dublin South Primary Care Psychology Service for those living in the Dun Laoghaire area. ‘Stress Control’ was devised to help the large number of people who experience stress and who are keen to learn how to tackle their problems themselves.
