Budget 2024 Fees Update
Minister for Further and Higher Education, Research, Innovation and Science Simon Harris TD and Minister of State for Skills Niall Collins TD have announced a package of measures, to reduce the cost of third level education this year. We understand that there will be a €1,000 fee reduction in the student contribution fee for undergraduate higher education students eligible for the free fees initiative. Please note that we are waiting on official instruction from the HEA to process this fee reduction and we will be in touch with all eligible students as soon as possible.
A number of other income related and existing grant related measures have been announced in the Budget and if you have any queries regarding these please contact SUSI directly (www.susi.ie).
Student Fees 2023/2024
An annual student contribution/tuition fee is payable by all students. This amount, subject to change from year to year, includes an examination fee and is payable for each year of study. Students who receive a grant may have this contribution partially or fully covered depending on the level and type of grant received.
