IADT Accessibility Statement

Conformance Status
The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) defines requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. It defines three levels of conformance: Level A, Level AA, and Level AAA.
The IADT Website is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 level AA. Partially conformant means that some parts of the content do not fully conform to the accessibility standard. We have added details below of where the website is not compliant.

Limitations and Alternatives

Known Limitations for IADT Website:
PDF Accessibility
PDF’s uploaded to our website are not yet fully compliant. We are looking towards training our staff to create accessible PDF’s going forwards. Please contact us if you require an accessible version of any of our PDF’s and we will reach out to you.
IADT Sub Domains
While we strive to be as compliant as possible, our efforts have been focused on the main IADT website. Sub domains such as https://library.iadt.ie/ have not been reviewed.

We welcome comments and interactions on the IADT Facebook page. However, please note that:
- Any offensive or inappropriate comments / content will be removed.
- People who repeatedly post offensive or inappropriate comments will be blocked.
- We monitor our Facebook page during normal working hours (Monday to Friday), and endeavour to respond to any comments or queries from users within 24 hours.
Instagram & Twitter
We welcome you to follow us on Instagram (@myiadt) and Twitter (@myiadt). On these channels you can expect updates covering some or all of the following:
- Information about courses at IADT.
- Information about our Open Days and events at IADT.
- Details of activities taking place on our campus.
