IADT has highest progression rates from 1st to 2nd year in the IoT sector
The Higher Education Authority today published a report on students progressing from first to second year from the 2013/14 and 2014/15 academic years.
IADT has the lowest dropout rates of any Institute of Technology in the sector for that year at 17%.
The findings show a strong correlation between the student's CAO points and their chances of progressing at third level.
Dr. Annie Doona, President of IADT, welcomed the findings and said, 'I believe our low dropout rates are a result of many factors, not least the effort and commitment of all staff in pre-entry information and initiatives, the on-programme academic experience and the range of supports provided to our students here'.
