N-TUTORR – a finalist in the Irish Education Awards 2024
In its 8th year, the annual Education Awards celebrate excellence in the third level education sector on the island of Ireland. The ‘Best Collaboration Project’ award recognises the collaborative efforts between Higher Education Institutes, that demonstrate highest level of enrichment and growth between the relevant organisations over the past 12 months, and have contributed to the furthering of education.
IADT is a proud partner of N-TUTORR, an innovative collaboration across the Technological Higher Education sector. The project is designed to transform learning, teaching and assessment by focussing on transforming the student experience and developing the capabilities of all staff to address a sustainable pedagogical and learning environment. The project has a particular and critical focus on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs); equality, diversity and inclusion (EDI), universal design for learning (UDL), Employability, Academic Integrity and Digital Transformation. The 7 partners work together to achieve the ambitious goals of the project.
N-TUTORR is supported by the Higher Education Authority (HEA) and coordinated by the Technological Higher Education Association (THEA) in collaboration with seven Higher Education Institutions across Ireland: Atlantic Technological University (ATU), Dundalk Institute of Technology (DkIT), Dún Laoghaire Institute of Art, Design and Technology (IADT), South East Technological University (SETU), Munster Technological University (MTU), Technological University Dublin (TU Dublin) and Technological University of the Shannon: Midlands Midwest (TUS). The N-TUTORR project is funded by NextGenerationEU .
Entries are reviewed by an expert judging panel who will look for evidence of innovative, bold, and creative strategies/initiatives that have been used to help the organisations work together effectively to create mutual contributions and improvement. The Awards Gala will be held at the Killashee Hotel in Kildare on April 25th 2024, organised by Business River, sponsored by Amárach Research and The Irish Times.
