Danny Cohen was a photographic technician at Middlesex Polytechnic and then worked as a camera assistant on documentaries and commercials for eight years. His first job a DoP for the cinema was the horror film, Creep. He has collaborated a number of times with Shane Meadows on Dead Man's Shoes andThis is England, as well as several television spin-offs.
Other credits include:
- The Danish Girl; Les Misérables (ASC nomination);
- The King’s Speech (Oscar® nomination); and
- Longford (TV); all directed by Tom Hooper;
- plus Lenny Abrahamson’s Room;
- The Hollow Crown; and
- The Program.
