Facilitator: Professor Chris Anson, Professor of English and Director of the Campus Writing and Speaking Program at North Carolina State
12.30pm Friday 12th February
Email is one of the oldest and most ubiquitous forms of digital communications. The emergency shift to online provision experienced in the last 12 months has seen email being used even more frequently and in unprecedented educational contexts.
This seminar will explore the simplicity and power of email as an instructional tool. Presented by Professor Chris Anson, Distinguished University Professor and Director of North Carolina State University’s Campus Writing & Speaking Program, the seminar will introduce the audience to examples of email’s potential as a flexible educational tool in a variety of educational settings.
The seminar will allow attendees to develop insight into how email is used within their own teaching practice and will introduce examples of how educators can use email as a way to help students develop a nuanced awareness of rhetorical principles.
Facilitated by Professor Chris Anson, Professor of English and Director of the Campus Writing and Speaking Program at North Carolina State.
This seminar is sponsored by the National Forum for the Enhancement of Teaching and Learning as part of the Seminar Series
