Applied Psychology Student Project Accepted for Prestigious NIBPS 2022 Annual Conference
A third year BSc Applied Psychology group project has been accepted for presentation at the prestigious Northern Ireland BPS 2022 Annual Conference which takes place 11th-12th October 2022 online.
The theme of the NIBPS 2022 Annual conference is: Cultivating Creativity and Connection in an evolving world.
Congratulations to the project team members Katerina Hruba, Rebecca Montague, Andrei-Gabriel Spiridon, Ewan Wells and Olivia Wynne. The project was completed as part of the Applied Psychology in Practice module.
Module coordinator Dr John Greaney praised the student’s creativity in addressing the issue of reconnecting after periods of isolation during the pandemic: “The students were able to combine relevant psychology to inform their design of a fun event to help students broaden their connections within the college.”
Programme Co-ordinator, Ms. Sinéad Meade, added that “this project is an admirable example of applied psychology in practice, and I am delighted that the students’ work is being recognised at the NIBPS 2022 Annual Conference.”
