Electric Picnic in partnership with IADT present FIELD STUDIES
As one of Ireland's biggest Music & Arts Festival, Electric Picnic wouldn’t be complete without it’s smorgasbord of innovative, intricate and immersive art.
Electric Picnic is delighted to exclusively invite IADT students to apply and showcase their wild and wonderful creations to a now sold out 70,000 strong audience. Not only will the lucky creatives who are selected for FIELD STUDIES get to display their work at Electric Picnic they will also be able to attend the festival with a friend to see their creations being interacted with over the weekend of festivities.
This competition is open to all IADT students and we welcome the bold, the brave and the outright bizarre of applications, ranging from sculptures to print, projection to audio. Each art installation presented as part of FIELD STUDIES will have a write up next to their work and a bio on the Electric Picnic app and website, this is an amazing opportunity for students to link their portfolios or socials to their work for further opportunities and recognition.
Electric Picnic wants to see the talent and creativity IADT students have to offer and celebrate it.
The theme for FIELD STUDIES this year is ‘HARVEST’ which can be interpreted however you like or see fit.
When planning and conceptualizing your art installation think of materials, locations, size and build process as these will be questions asked in the interview.
