IADT Access Student Lanagh Connolly
Overview
The Access Service is located in the Student Services suite in the Carriglea Building, Room C006D. The work of the Access Service can be split into two areas:
- Outreach: We run outreach projects and activities with local DEIS secondary schools and community groups to support access to IADT for under-represented groups.
- Student Supports: We provide supports and opportunities for IADT students from under-represented groups and who experience socio-economic disadvantage, including financial supports.
IADT students who avail of the service include: People from ethnic minority groups such as Irish Traveller and Roma, people in need of financial support, people who have experienced the care system, HEAR (Higher Education Access Route) entrants and Access IADT entrants.
Please consult the tabs on the right-hand side of this webpage for further details on our outreach work and student supports.
