As a student of IADT you are expected to have budgeted appropriately and sufficiently before starting your studies here. However, we recognise that financial problems can arise for a number of reasons and result in students needing assistance.
Student supports available to Non-EU students in IADT
- The Olivia Burke Hardship Fund
The purpose of this discretionary fund is to offer financial assistance to students who encounter acute and unexpected difficulties during their time of study in IADT, and who cannot meet these additional costs from other sources. Illnesses, bereavement, sudden unemployment and homelessness resulting in the need for emergency accommodation are some of the issues which may make you eligible for support.
Please email access@iadt.ie to set up an online or in-person appointment.
Students who are non-EU, but who are eligible for free or reduced fees in line with the criteria for the Free Fees Initiative, may be considered for the SAF subject to meeting other relevant criteria.
People who are seeking asylum, have refugee status, leave to remain, or are joining family members with refugee status may also be eligible for the Free Fees Initiative, and for SAF, subject to meeting other relevant criteria.
